Your future challenge

We are now looking for an experienced designer for the Armament and Fire Control Systems unit. The unit consists of 14 experienced employees and several consultants.

As a designer within weapon systems, you will have a free and independent job with great opportunities to express your creativity in the design. You will also have the chance to develop into an expert in the field and you will receive the support you need to succeed!

Your main area of work will be within weapon and ammunition systems for the platforms CV90 and tracked vehicles. You will be an important part of the development and design of new systems as well as in the modification of our existing systems. A large part of the work will take place in the 3D CAD program Catia v5.

The role also includes conducting interesting analyses and controls as well as participating in testing and verification processes.

The development of our vehicles always takes place in close collaboration with the customer. Therefore, the work also includes adapting the systems to meet both our customers' requirements and our internal ones.

Your contact points in the role will be many. With your specialist knowledge, you will support the system department in the work of developing conceptual design, and when the systems are to be assembled, you will be on-site in production and/or at the customer.

Reporting is done to the unit manager. Daily work is project-based, so in these tasks you will report to the team leader or sub-project manager.

Who you are

We are looking for someone with a creative flair and an interest and desire to become an expert in the field.

We believe you are a trained mechanical engineer or have equivalent practical experience. A few years of experience in mechanical design work is advantageous, but we also welcome you if you are newly graduated, provided you have the right motivation and skills.
